Special design features
The machine complies with GMP, cGMP and FDA requirements to meet the needs of the aseptic processing of food and pharmaceuticals, and can complete the feeding, filtration, washing, dry spinning, cake discharge, filter cloth regeneration, clean in place, nitrogen protection and other processes under fully automatic control. The through-the-wall design can separate the centrifuge process area from the machine area by a flexible membrane installed at the divider plate of the frame components, with process area meeting the requirements of the clean room. The machine has a full opening housing and an automatic closure system, which allows for more convenient, rapid validation of cleaning effect, inspection and maintenance. It is equipped with a CIP system (Cleaning In Place) for cleaning the entire centrifuge process area. The optional back-blowing or blowing device is provided for automatic residual heel removal. The centrifuge adopts a fully enclosed design, and an optional automatic nitrogen filling protection system is provided for various explosion-proof areas. The machine is equipped with the spring and damper elements and no concrete inertia plate so that it would be compact, easy to install, and operate more smoothly, with comprehensive monitoring and interlocking protection functions such as machine vibration, bearing temperature, rotating speed, slurry level control, lubricating oil flow rate, and housing closure, etc., which makes its operation safer and more reliable.
Applications
GKM ‘through-the-wall’ peeler centrifuge is mainly suitable for the solid-liquid separation of toxic, flammable, explosive and low viscosity slurries, and food and pharmaceutical industries that require high cleanliness. It also meets the needs of aseptic processing and is used in separation processes for typical pharmaceuticals such as cephalosporin, chloramphenicol, erythromycin, refined VC, and other intermediates or products.
