Principle of Operation
The centrifuge starts and automatically accelerates to the predetermined speed. The feed valve is opened, and the suspension to be separated enters the inlet distributor of the scroll conveyor through a stationary inlet tube and is accelerated smoothly into the bowl. When subject to the centrifugal force, the suspension inside the bowl is quickly separated into solid phase and liquid phase. The denser solid phase is pressed outwards against the rotating bowl wall to form the sediment and is continuously moved to the conical beach section by the scroll conveyor, which rotates at a different speed than the bowl due to a gearbox. The sediment is moved by the scroll conveyor to the pre concentration zone at the conical section of the bowl, where the sediment is further concentrated, then transported along a cylindrical screen section, where the sediment is further dried under the action of centrifugal force, and discharged out from the solids discharge ports at the conical end of the bowl. During the dewatering process, the sediment can also be washed on the screen by washing water from the jacketed inlet tube. The separation process is carried out continuously, and the clarified liquid, filter cake and filtrate are collected into their respective discharge outlets in the casing and finally discharged out of the decanter under gravity.

LWZ screen bowl decanter centrifuge is integrated machine for concentrating, settling, and dewatering which combine the clarifying benefits of the solid bowl decanter centrifuge and add a final dewatering screen section, and are mainly composed of rotating assembly (the bowl, the scroll conveyor, the shaft neck assemblies of large bowl end and small bowl end), a planetary gear differential, feed tube, frame, casing, backwashing device, power system, lubrication system and other components.
Special design features
With high rotating speed, high capacity, low filtrate loss, and excellent product moisture, the screen bowl decanter centrifuge has an additional final dewatering screen section to produce maximum sediment dryness, compared with the solid bowl decanter centrifuge. Where advantageous, the sediment can be washed on the screen as required. Compared with the pusher centrifuge, it has a special conical beach section so it can adapt to lower feed concentrations, and the clarified liquid and filtrate can be discharged separately, suitable for integrated operation combining the sedimentation and filtration stages in one machine with a concentration range of 2-50% and particle size of 0.05-5mm. It adopts welded strip screen, with a long service life, using specialized disassembly tools for easy disassembly and replacement of the components.

Paraxylene, bisphenol A, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, terephthalic acid, dimethyl ester, mirabilite and mirabilite production residues, potassium salt production residues, and wastewater salts.
